    You only have to connect it up once a day or whatever... and if your cell phone has a wifi hotspot... that will work fine. At our our house we have 3 cellphones that can act as wifi hotspots, not to mention numerous neighbors that would let us piggy back on their wifi in a crunch.

    Yeah... I think it will be awhile before we see how it plays out and I would suspect we will see most games on both platforms for years. I don't know how many times games are resold... but I am guessing 3-5 times... and that is 2-4 times the publisher doesn't get paid anything for their work.

    I can understand why Sony stayed without DRM, they had a hard time with one of their handheld devices that was online only, and I think they learned a lesson by that, but it was mainly because people who already bought physical games couldn't play them on the new device. Both PS4 and XBOX One are not backward compatible anyway.

    My neighbor who works with graphics at Intel was also impressed with the XBOX One cloud support (3 virtual xbox one's for each physical one). Said something like that extra horsepower can be use to crunch better lighting etc... when you are loading a level, so graphically, in theory at least, certain games may be able to look better on Xbox One even though they have very similar hardware (PS4 actually has a bit better graphics performace, which XBOX One went away from because of concerns about heat)

    Yeah, the only exclusives you really see are made by studios Sony and Microsoft own, 3rd parties miss out on too much money being exclusive. I wonder which system they will be slightly better on though? Last gen it was the 360 for most multiplatforms, but i wonder if that will shift, probably depends on which is easier to develop for.

    That seems like more of a hassle to me. For example updates current gen are usually between 1-50 MB.. that could be a good chunk of my 2 GB limit. Broadband in rural parts of Hood River are hard to get to, so neighbor wifi isnt plentiful either. It just seems very unneccesary to me, when Pirating Console games (from what I've read) isnt that big of a community. Especially with most people being like yourself wanting to play games online.

    I dont fault anyone if they choose xbox as their preference. But the extra hassle and restrictions have cause me personally to decide to take my business elsewhere for the rest of this current gen, and next generation.

    Meh. Most of the time when I play FPS games I get killed by 13 year olds who laugh at me afterward. So, regardless if they are depicted in the game or not, the majority of people playing the game are kids.

    It's not fun playing cod and having 10 year old boys who haven't hit puberty and have high voices call you a homo time and time again that's for sure.

    Jeez, the Ps4 pre-orders are murdering the Xbone on like every site. I don't think i've ever seen a company throw away a market share so quickly like this.

    I was going to buy a PS4 even if it was $100 more than the XBox one. The price is not an issue for me at all. It's not 2002 anymore. I expect to pay more than $500 for a computer or a god damn cell phone, so paying $400, $500, or even $600, for something that I use much more frequently than my computer and enjoy much more than my cell phone is not something I think twice about.
