Yes. Redick/Mayo are two offensive guys who play zero defense. I guess theoretically, draft pick and Tony Allen and McGee would be the best.

with Karl gone in Denver from what I've read upper mgmt wants to keep McGee and play him, so IMO he's likely not available - at least cheaply

Does that still leave room to sign a back up PG? We can't go cheap on that position. We need a solid one.

Perfect hair and all, Chandler Parsons was on Jim Rome’s show on Thursday, talking about the Rockets, Team USA mini-camp and, yes… the free agent pursuit of one Dwight Howard. Houston’s starting forward, who is becoming a bit of a star in his own right, was asked if he felt the Rockets had a shot at landing the Lakers’ superstar free agent center this summer. “I think so,” said Parsons. “I’m good friends with Dwight and we talk. When he’s healthy and when he’s playing, he’s the best center in the NBA.” Clutchfans

Hmm every little thing helps. Asik still a possibility......

What we need to do is look at this as more than a 1 year fix

That's an interesting tidbit about Cleveland... I'm just wondering if we could turn around and flip the #1 for something better. Who out there covets Noel?

Then why spend the money on Tony Allen. Isn't he more of a "Now' type acquisition?
I guess we have some 2nd round picks we can use for back up PG's, but I still would like to sign Maynor.

How does anyone know what they've been texting each other? I love rumors as much as anyone (and like RR7, always feel that we're involved in some way), but the notion that Broussard heard of what CP and Dwight were texting about is hilarious.

Re: 2013 Official NBA Off-season Movement & Rumors

My understanding that mathematically they almost have to get rid of Asik just for Howard so if they want Paul too then I then they will have no choice.

I can only imagine the shits storm if Paul goes down with a knee injury 5 weeks into season the with all the money they would have to poured into Harden, Howard and Paul.

How would they clear enough for both? Lin/Asik/filler for cap space?

Celebrities leak stuff about their whereabouts and activities all the time. Creating a media frenzy tends to turn rumors into reality.

Please, please. I would pay to see Kobe on the same team as Griffin (if Kobe plays again). The ego clash would be amazing. Would also like to see how much CP3 really likes playing with Howard. I'm guessing he would regret it down the road.

these guys all deserve each other, for me it's great seeing a "team" like San Antonio competing so well for a championship
