Maybe with the Lakers he could move up to the Lexus gig. ;)

This makes me happy. Griffin was one of my bigger pre-draft misses. I didn't think he would amount to much, and I always thought his game was overrated when he eventually blew up. Now it appears his team also views his game as rather limited and expendable.

I hate Blake as well. However, being willing to trade him for Dwight Howard doesn't really equal limited and expendable.

Griffin sells tickets, but he's not exactly someone that will carry a team in the playoffs. The Clips are really lacking someone of that caliber. CP3 is one of, if not the, best point guards in the NBA, but he isn't a scorer by nature. If they were to trade Griffin, I would hope it was for someone better than D12. I don't think he puts them over the top. I wonder.....

Sign-and-trade CP3 to OKC for Westbrook. I think it would solve a lot of problems for both teams. Paul would be great with Durant, and Westbrook would give the Clippers the go-to-guy that they crave. Plus, I'm sure he'd love to be back in LA.

That's the thing, Howard doesn't help their problematic inside scoring, and at this stage of his career it's not clear that he helps them much defensively. If he gets his health back, that could change, of course. It sounds like just dumping Griffin to try a new direction.

And we thought Blake the Fake got superstar treatment on the Clips. Just wait until he's the new Flaker showtime.

Yep and most teams with considerable cap space are rebounding. Seems foolish to rebuild with a player that has lost a step.

Now I could see him going to a team that is on the cusp and just needing a player to get them over the hump though. I don't think there are many of them around:

Funny story about Coach Sloan. We were at Utah waiting in line to eat dinner in the media room. Coach Sloan was right in front of me. The old man checking our credentials to get into the media room wouldn't let him in. Said he needed to have credentials to get in there. Sloan looks at me give the guy a dirty look....... Cusses at him and walks off. I looked at the old man said ,didn't you know who that was? I bet that guy got fired the next day!

How could anyone in Utah not know who Jerry Sloan is? Seriously, I want to know....

Having lived in Utah for....... too long, I can make a guess. They are in to their rules there. And if the rules stated he needed credentials , then he needed credentials. He knew who he was, but it didn't matter. A great number of people there can not think out side the box. They just do what they are told.
