Unlike the cowardly men in the U.S. Senate who only have to say "we filibuster!" and a bill with majority vote and majority support in the population is dead, this woman had to literally stand up for her beliefs. But it's not theater, it's women's lives.
Hilarious how no one is talking about this on here. This board sometimes, I swear. Here, I found a picture of Wendy Davis, now we can have a serious discussion on her bangability.
I'm not talking about it because it doesn't surprise me. I hope the federal government will do something about it.
I kind of find these delay tactics kind of lame to be honest, no matter the issue. Talk so long so the vote can't be taken on time and that's a good way to legislate? even with congress, these stupid tactics are pretty lame.
Perhaps they can draw attention to an issue that some who care had been ignorant on it being an issue.
