This could be the reason why Dieng is not rated higher...on NBAtv they were talking about how good he was and that he should be rated right behind Noel......No mention of knee issues, if this is true, then he could be an end of 1st\early 2nd pick...

That would be a surprise at #4 and shake up the draft a little (good for POR I think), ORL apparently likes Zeller but would trade down (MIN?) to get him it appears...

Could this be to take Len?

    Chris Mannix ‏@ChrisMannixSI 5h
Hearing stronger indications that Cleveland likes Maryland's Alex Len with the No. 1 pick.

Oklahoma City continues to be aggressive. Trying to move up, down and/or out of draft. Asking for two future No. 1's to move out of No. 12.

That is an insane demand IMO....

Team exec on Shabbaz Muhammad: "Whoever gets him is going to be really happy." Most see him going 13-20, but Sac-Det-Minn like him, too.

Alex Kennedy @AlexKennedyNBA about 9 minutes ago
This time last year, Shabazz Muhammad was so hyped up that he was overrated. Now, he has been criticized so much that he's underrated.

I tend to agree with these assessments...

I've always said that it depends on what they think they are getting with Shabazz. If they want a playmaker, defender - nope.

    Melo/Kobe-like scorer? Bingo.

@kpelton If POR trades Aldridge to CHI, what's a realistic return for Blazers that won't make fans want to shoot themselves? Noah+1st? Deng?

    Kevin Pelton ‏@kpelton 4h
@JacsonBevens I think you're looking for the future CHA pick and Nikola Mirotic.

    Kevin Pelton ‏@kpelton 4h
@JacsonBevens Probably not. If they do trade Aldridge -- and I don't think they will -- Cleveland's assts are more appealing.

I agree 1) I doubt LA gets traded during this draft (though he will be dealt, either mid year trade deadline or next offseason) 2) That if they did trade LA now it would more likely be to CLE (or OKC? Ibaka/Lamb/maybe #12)

You think he can be a scoring champion for an NBA playoff team?

And on night before draft, three people of importance within Cavs organization have differing views on #1, sources say.

    Bill Ingram @TheRocketGuy now
One of the more bizarre tidbits to surface today is the LaMarcus Aldridge "trade request." That's not how LA rolls.

I think he can be one of the best pure scorers in the league, yes.

Probably a step below those 2 plus Durant.

The #Mavs don't want to keep the 13th pick. But if they do, it could be between Michael Carter-Williams, Dennis Schroeder and Kelly Olynyk.

What for though? I know you were really high on Lamb last year but he couldn't even sniff the rotation in OKC and Zach Lowe a month or so ago was on the BS Report talking about horrible reports about Lambs practice habbits coming out of OKC.
I guess a package of 12,Lamb, Jackson, Jones, Ilbaka is fairly good but there is no way they include Ilbaka so 12,lamb, jackson, jones isn't a great deal but its not a bad one. Whatever deal with OKC is one that will probably be there near the trade deadline next year as well so we wouldn't need to jump on it now.

The problem IMO with a package built around Ibaka is you now have 2 very well paid role players in Ibaka and Batum. Not sure that's the best way to build a team.

yeah, that draft with 4 all-stars in the top 10 in addition to solid players like Bibby, Lafrentz, Rashard Lewis, etc.
