Sorry, I've been under a rock. I'm just now hearing and reading about the Wiggins gushing.

I know it's still a year away, but I was just curious.....In 2014, will Wiggins be as highly anticipated as Lebron was in 2003?

    Thanks :)

Never liked LeBron personally - always looked like a football player playing Bball.

    Wiggins looks the goods.

I vote we hold off trading Aldridge till next draft and try to trade him (or derived assets) for the first pick.

I don't think anyone with the #1 pick will give us wiggins. We either need to gamble and trade for an unprotected, tank and maybe try to grab another unprotected. It's a tall order.

Both would require trading Aldridge. If we keep Aldridge no way we sniff an unprotected pick (though doubt we would anyway) and with Aldridge we would win enough games to be at around the same position we were this year, probable even enough to where Charlotte gets our pick next year.

Oh I agree. I think it really depends on Aldridge. If he really wants to be moved; then we find a team that can use a third team to give us a unprotected. It would probably be something like Dallas, Atlanta and us.

Dallas would get Aldridge; we get an unprotected pick from Atlanta and probably pieces to make everyone happy.

Oh, I agree. I strongly doubt we'd get the no.1 straight up - it would have to be Aldridge + other assets.

Best bet may be to try for a 2014 unprotected pick at the trade deadline this coming season.

I don't know man. I think at that stage of the season; most teams will know where they most likely will fall. The gamble needs to happen before the season starts.

This draft could be as good as 84. Wiggins is the real deal.

A year ago, people were raving about Shabazz.

If we are lucky, we will know something about his real potential about next March.

Given that he was easily ROY in the NBA in what would have been his Freshman year - probably pretty okay.

Somehow I don't think LeBron would've been third best player on the International Team at the Nike Hoops Summit.

I don't like Lebron either. I wish failure upon him. I don't think WillG meant Lebron isn't a dominant player.
