    We had a brief discussion about Robin in one of the threads a few weeks ago. To this day, I'm still confused why we didn't make a run at him after missing out of Hibbert. Instead, we went back to JJ after waiting things out a few more days.

    We may know tomorrow what Howard is thinking. He meets with LA. So, at that point, we may know whether or not Asik is available, and if so, what our chances of getting him are. If Olshey could get Lopez on the cheap, I might consider making that move without waiting on Asik (even more so if we could clear a little salary, like Freeland, in the process).

    I don't know what their situation is and how much money they need to shed. Say they only needed to shed around $2 million. Dumping Lopez and adding Freeland cuts $2MM and gives them a big man (though it's Joel Freeland - nuff said). Or Claver. Just something that helps keep us with a little cap room.

    Unless Olshey already has a deal worked out for Asik: Get him. He beats the hell out of the scrubs we've been talking about. As for his low rebounding, Hickson was a rebound vacuum. His teammates just stood and watch him take every one. With no Hickson playing for a contract, you'll see Aldridge and others share the rebound load more.
