We've talked a lot about him this year. I haven't been that excited, but the way things are playing out....

He's solid, doesn't demand the ball and could be had for not too much I'm guessing. If the dream of Asik or Lopez dies, he's an OK plan C.

Yes it's not as exciting as getting Asik or Lopez; but I definitely would have him instead of Pek, Zaza or Kaman. Dalembert is a rim protector and he is a stop gap for Leonard to develop.

I really REALLY don't get the appeal. You do know he's 32? And couldn't get ANY time on the Bucks?

Way better than anyone else mentioned so far. Still rather rebuild, but with some health and assuming the young guys improve, we could be in the mix this year

The bucks had one of the best defending big man in the league. And 32 years old isn't that bad for the price. I suspect he will get maybe 6 mil.

always thought that dalembert D'd LMA up the best out of everyone in the league. very long, good defender and rebounder. I think he would be a good fit if we cant get asik or lopez. sounds like a good back up plan

    10th-best rebound% in history.
    10th-best block% in history.

He's 32, and was a workhorse for almost a decade. I didn't see him play last year, so I don't know if he hit the wall or MIL was going with the young guys.

It was Milwaukee going with the young guys. Dalembert had a 35/20 game last season. He still has juice man

    EDIT: Whoops I meant 12 rebounds. LMAO @ 20

Well yeah! If you have the talent to bench him then do it. Larry Sanders?! I would rather play him too! LOL

I'd be interested in giving him most or all our cap space but I wouldn't want anything beyond a one year guaranteed deal.

Dalembert has been my first choice all along when considering what was achievable.

Interesting. What's your difference between a 1- and a 2-year deal? Even if we do get space next year with his contract expiring, we're going to have less because of raises to all the others than we do right now. Nobody comes off the books next year.

It's gotta be 3 years with a team option for the third.

Dude blocks shots! Would complement LMA nicely. He makes a great defensive anchor AND can actually hit free throws, which is crucial down the stretch.

Dalembert would be a waste of time and money in my opinion. He hasn't been an effective and reliable player in several years and he won't make a difference on this team other than maybe dragging us deeper into mediocrity.

I think that the Blazers are a good center away from making it over the hump (or at least A hump) but Dalembert is not that guy. Of course, I'm not sure that "that guy" is out there, and it's why I'd be comfortable with a tank job this year.
