I love LMA but I would have to consider that. It gives us flexibility to make more moves and would open up cap space with Bogut next right?

Not that they would but I think I would have to do that.

LeBron is one of the greatest players ever. Howard? Really?

Trade Batum for nuts. Don't pick up the option on Meyers, trade Freeland for nuts. Probably package him with Batum.

Hard to say without knowing the contracts we will sign this offseason.

Howard is easily the most dominant center currently playing, and no one is really even close to him.

    I'd settle for Thompson/Bogut/picks

The potential of a Lillard/McCollum/Thompson lineup is very intriguing.

    PG- Lillard
    SG - CJ
    SF - Klay

    Modern day run-TMC

Asset. Acquisition. I'd probably let Bogut walk and see what young gun we could overpay for.

Howard doesn't win championships, even with Kobe or a really deep team. The upgrade for them at PF to someone like Josh Smith would be greater than Asik -> Howard.

Howard took his team to the finals. Something Noah or Rose wasn't able to do.

Awesome. One finals trip on a loaded team makes him dominant.

That team was hardly "loaded"! LMAO! He was just surrounded by shooters. Chicago had a better team the two years they had WCF throughout

POR is not geting Thompson AND Barnes for LA....wishful thinking....love to be wrong, I like both players, but I do not see that happening...Getting some salary filler (Bogut\Lee), 1 of Barnes\Thompson and perhaps a 2014 (or later) 1st round pick would be likely...

Third party teams that would be interested in taking on Andrew Bogut's expiring contract?

Isn't Bogut an expiring contract next season? Have to think (if he were able to stay healthy) we'd be able to find a team that would give us something at the deadline to make a playoff/finals push.

He's no longer a franchise-changing C, but (again, if healthy) would be a hellova rental.

His team was deep. Pietrus, Lee, Gortat on the bench, and 3 guys with 5 assists per game.

So what if they could shoot. That team was FIRST on defense, 6th in least points against. They did more than shoot.

Was going to bring that up. No doubt GS only chance is if they promise Dwight they'll trade Bogut for LaMarcus.

Hmmm could it be why Howard's camp said Golden State gave them a great offer? Interesting...

I could only imagine how incredible that team would be if they had either Klay or Barnes, Curry, Aldridge and Howard. Pretty unstoppable

Of course, what would GSW have left to offer LA in a S&T? They don't have much, if any, cap space right? If we take some of their talent for LMA, that doesn't leave much to send out in a trade.
