Meyers Leonard says he "absolutely" feels comfortable shooting three-pointers and plans to show off that range in Summer League

LOL outstanding, and exactly what they told him to work on, I'm sure

If he can shoot threes, that's fine ... so long as he learns/tries to play defense.

Sure would be nice if he were comfortable blocking a shot. Just once a game when a guy tries to make a basket I would like Meyers to touch the ball with his hand such that it doesn't go into the basket.

If he hasn't learned to defend or rebound in the first 21 years of his life its just not gonna happen at the NBA level. I'm fine with him working on what he is skilled at, maybe he can become a rich man's Matt Bonner.

Did anyone else see the tweet on Lillard working a floater in his game?

Man, that is exactly what I didn't want to hear from our center of the future.

Doesn't it seem a bit low? He needs some arc on that.

lol I'm critiquing a 9 second vine of Dame practice shooting a floater. Man am I desperate for some bball.

Who the fuck does he think he is....Kelly Olynyk?

No seriously, I don't mind the versatility, just take care of the more important things first.

During his exit interview, LA said he was going to be working on his 3-pointer in the summer.

    Re: SL thread

If Leonard can turn into a reliable three point threat why is that a huge problem? Granted it'd be nice to see him get stronger from the elbow and low block as well, but his offense isn't the problem to me. Whether or not he learns to defend and rebound is what really matters. The issue of where he gets his shots is completely immaterial at this point.
