Well, you've certainly got the homer thing going for you... It's nice for them that they get UW, UCLA, and UO at home this year, but I've got to believe that the Cards will start to see the post-Harbaugh drop-off this year (there's often a 1-year carryover of momentum after an elite coach leaves). I see the Cardinal starting 7-0 but dropping 2 of their next 3, ultimately finishing 10-2 before bowl season.
i think if there would be a post-Harbaugh drop-off, the it would have been last year after Luck left. actually, there as a bit of one withat Nunez at qb. once we put Hogan in at qb, we straightened the ship. Shaw is coaching well and we have so many guys returning that i don't see this as being that type of year. the oonly thing i'm really concerned about are trap games like the loss we had at UW last season. otherwise, i think we're gonna be more than fine.
All of the games are winnable. The only question is whether they will get caught by someone like they did by Washington last year or will be victimized by the referees like they did against Notre Dame. They'll be right back in it fighting for the conference championship again.
that's my biggest concern. i don't want us to fall into a trap game like at UW. i think we'll do well this year, but there are some games about which i'm concerned.
