    After all that happened last year, really looking forward to circling some dates on the calendar in the not too distant future. I understand the schedule should be coming this week?

    Yes, should be out soon. Even more interesting will be more games with the Red Wings as they move to the Eastern Conference.

    I do not even know what the standing alignment will look like;
    but as I understand it, it won't matter. The top eight teams will go
    to The Big Show. Always look forward to the Rangers' sked.

    Not necessarily correct. ...top 3 teams in each division then the next two best despite division. There ia a possiblity that the 6 th best team in division a is better than the top three of division B but won't get in...highly unlikely but possible

    I'm superglad there isn't a South East Division anymore...Good God, those teams had it so easy, just win the worst division and they were in. I can't think of a time when more than two teams were competitive at the same time.
