God, it's the most disappointing part of an incredibly disappointing presidency. He wants all the benefits his half-blackness brings, all the slack that is cut him by the media because of what he supposedly represents, yet he refuses to take any of the responsibility his half-blackness carries. He should have used his presidency to heal any racial divides, yet has tried to win cheap points by exploiting them. Shame on him. He's a disgrace.
Hahahaha. You called me that like 5 times. Whatever. Blame it on Obama. I can't even. What? I can't. Where do you see this? What am I missing? How paranoid do I need to be to understand this point of view? Seriously, help.
OK, then. You're a Low Info Voter, and I'm not a Real American. Obama's America. And yes, the only reason this is a national issue is because Obama commented on it. Nobody would even care if Obama hadn't said "if he had a son, he'd look like Trayvon". He's a community organizer. So is Al Sharpton. Or do you not know what a 'community organizer' does?
Meanwhile, millions of Americans are still out of work, shit is boiling over in Egypt, Iraq, and Syria, troop deaths in Afghanistan have surpassed Bush levels, and our President's only comments the past few days are about a shooting in Who Gives a Fuck, FL, that had two minority Americans involved in it.
Who gives a fuck really? Blaming the President for saying the kid could have been his own, a normal 16 year old with no criminal background walking up to the store to get skittles and iced tea. Lawdi freakin daw. The Republican phoneys on this board are like little leaches, still bitter about Obama getting his 2nd term.
on twitter just now: "Kcal9 news reporter and van was attacked per officers at scene.” hot blond white girl...send her to the ghetto in the middle of riots...what can go wrong?
No I'm not and yes you are. Reading comprehension. This isn't an argument for anything. At this point I think your programming is starting to short circuit. Incorrect. Before Obama commented on it, the change.org petition to prosecute Zimmerman had 1.5 million signatures. The only reason Obama commented on it was because it was a national issue, not the other way around. Again, malfunctioning programming. What are you talking about?
It's not just George Zimmerman. It's his entire political strategy. Remember "You didn't build that"? "One thing I do know is the Cambridge Police acted stupidly"? Speaking in Northern Ireland, he called Catholic education "divisive". What about his "people become bitter, clinging to their guns and religion" line? Those are just a few examples. Look at his administration. Van Jones. Eric Holder. Hilda Solis. These are agitators extraordinaire. He has exploited peoples' fears and divided people on racial, religious and economic lines instead of uniting them. It's a pathetic legacy. I'd say we deserve better, but we've now elected this charlatan twice. I think now we get precisely what we deserve.
