Has anyone thought why he wants to be closer to home? Doesn't his mom have cancer or something? Maybe he wants to be close to mom because he wants to spend more time with her? :dunno:

I don't think there's anyone on the board disparaging LMA for wanting to be somewhere else at the end of his contract, and sooner if it can be facilitated.

I've said it before and I will say it again. I'm not apposed to trading Aldridge as long as we aren't getting hosed in the deal. There needs to be some type of marquee player coming back. Not a superstar, but maybe one that could be one or an older all-star and youth or picks.

No. The Pelicans only have 1 on that list.

Ya, he meant CHA. And I guess you can count Evans. Wasn't on the team last year.

I do like Gerald Henderson a lot. I was thinking more of a trade of Matthews for him though. For Aldridge I don't see anything else they could throw in that would make me do a deal there.

Not too early at least. They could be officially approved as early as today.

Well a bunch of people hated the Evans idea this summer and even more people have hated the Gordon idea. So Im not sure how people are going to feel about trading with NOH

    Ugh.

Better, although I only really care about Ibaka in that bunch, unless the pick is a lottery team's, not OKC's. Maybe if Reggie Jackson was actually a PG and they included him...

I'd do that, but Chicago has already said it won't. And I believe them.

Barnes is a below average NBA player, Thompson is great but we just drafted CJ McCollum. No.

Not my metric--It's Mags' metric. I'm just pulling numbers.

However, I do like Sessions as a backup PG, and I think Henderson is still promising...

It wasn't my metric either. It was someone else on here that said trob could be our buck Williams and we need a wing like Drexler.

If Aldridge wants put and nobody is offering a player of equal value, just keep him. We can sign and trade him in two years if he still wants to leave
