The Golden State Warriors reportedly offered All-Star power forward David Lee and small forward Brandon Rush to the Portland Trail Blazers for All-Star power forward LaMarcus Aldridge, but the Blazers declined.

(I don't see Bogut's name, Barnes' name, Klay's name, etc.)

EDIT: that offer reported by Wojnarowski

Deng would be the last player we need

That was rumored later. Check the Aldridge thread. The tweets where in there.

Ironically, the Charlotte Pick is what the Bulls got for LMA in the first place.

The Bulls traded LMA on draft day for Viktor and Tyrus Thomas. They later traded Thomas to Charlotte for the pick.

    Tyrus Thomas is a bonehead.

Dealing LMA for him wasn't a great move, either :) Especially when the Bulls starting PF at the time was PJ Brown and I think they had just let his contract expire. That is, the Bulls could actually have used LMA.

On the other hand, maybe they'd not have lucked into the pick that got them Derrick Rose because LMA would help them finish with a better record?

Pretty sure he meant "boners" as "stupid mistakes" referring to Haynes implying that LaMarcus met with Olshey in Vegas, then LaMarcus saying he's been in Dallas for the last two weeks...

I think you put a competitive team around LaMarcus, make it to the WCF, and sign him to a huge extension so he'll retire a Blazer.

    That works, too.

I really like players (over management). As a fan, nothing would make me happier to see him retire a Blazer. With all sincerity.

clearly the bulls would have to offer both the pick and the euro, and they would still make out like bandits

Still don't see why we don't just wait it out... and if we don't make it to the WCF in the next 2 years, let him expire, and then throw the bank at Love - who is probably a better fit now anyway.

That, or get Mirotic + Cha #1 + Deng or Boozer.

Otherwise, I'd prefer: LMA for Splitter, Kawhi, Danny Green

Then Batum + Wes for Love (if he demands a trade) or

Batum + Green + Meyers for Monroe. (Obviously I am in homer lala land for all of this, but in the end we would look pretty good)

Lillard l Wes l Kawhi l Love, Monroe l Splitter.

    McCollum to back up PG/SG, T Rob @ 4

I have no interest in Boozer or Deng, but I personally wouldn't be opposed to a package of Gibson, Teague, Hinrich's EC, Mirotic, and the pick for Aldridge/Freeland.

Bulls have a title contender (favorite?):
    Rose/(?-Nate?)
    Dunleavy/Cook
    Deng/Butler
    Aldridge/Boozer
    Noah/Freeland

    Blazers tank with:
    Lillard/Teague
    Matthews/McCollum
    Batum/Wright
    Gibson/Robinson
    Lopez/MyLe
