Oh sorry you used hyperbole. I strawman to point out how fucking idiotic your comment that Christians want to ban alcohol.
I didn't use hyperbole. It was a hypothetical. He stated his position: "call it civil unions because religious idiots will get their panties in a bunch if you call it marriage." I asked "why do we care what religious idiots think? Do we pander to everything they get their panties in a bunch over?" Way over your head. Post when the shrooms wear off.
As a lesson, PapaG posted a strawman a while back. Maxiep posted "since government can't discriminate" and PapaG posted govt. can, see Nazi germany. Maxiep's position wasn't at all that government couldn't discriminate if it chose to, but rather that government can't by law (or should not) discriminate. PapaG did not at all address Maxiep's position, but rather stood up the nazi argument as if it were maxiep's and argued against that.
Because Webster online does not match the one on my desk. The online version has been altered. By the authority of whom? Why? To please the Gay minority? Let um pound sand!
http://sportstwo.com/threads/241342...ould-suggest?p=3064993&viewfull=1#post3064993 Reads, "we don't need to own him because we have him under contract." Otherwise you would need to.
Wow! you have a screwed up mind. Here is what I said: "Under contract is fine, I like it that way and here in Portland too." Pretty much the American way of doing business. But I guess your mind is faulty.
I guess in a thread about slavery and in the context of Sly's post, you don't come across the way you think.
Well, I know Sly was posting in jest. I in turn posted a fact that I am pleased we have Lamarcus under contract (as opposed to a Slave) as he is my favorite player. But I can not control what you infer but I do wish you would not post an out and out lie fabricated in your muddled mind.
I've always held this position. Usually, I don't let your moods and a-hole posts piss me off, but your accusation of bigotry has done it. Eric, go fuck yourself. My two closest friends from high school are gay. I watched them struggle with it, lie to their parents and friends, try to convince themselves they were straight and try to live a lie. I saw them come out of the closet and have some of their lifelong friends shun them. I watched straight friends of mine make bad relationship decisions and get divorced multiple times before 30, yet my friend has been with the guy for 19 years and can't even get married. I've been to a number of gay weddings and the end of the evening is always sad to me because I know when they leave Vermont their relationship won't be recognized in other states. I love my friends like family, and it pains me they don't have equal protection under the law. My sexual preference doesn't mean my feelings on this issue are somehow less than yours. I don't really give two shits that you are attracted to men. Just because I'm attracted to women doesn't mean you get to claim superiority in this argument. I've tolerated your chemical imbalances on this board, but this accusation of bigotry speaks to just what a small person you are.
