Or you get tired of whoring around and find someone you care about that you don't want to kick out of your bed in the morning
27 and still not there. I like Kids, and have fun with my younger cousins (Just got my youngest cousin hooked on Ducktales!) but I like to be able to give them back to their parents
Different strokes for different folks. I have friends on your level. They like to travel everywhere, party, etc. I like to kick it at home. I've always been more of a home-body.
Yeah. Hard to decide that in your early 20s though. It's more of the pressure that "I wont be able to find anyone else again". Half of marriages don't work out anyway and the numbers are way worse for people who marry young. hoop fam
You don't win every game you play. You're just afraid of losing, so you don't even play the meaningful games, just scrimmages.
I'm 21 and not close to thinking about it. I do have several friends who are married or engaged already. Hopefully they don't start popping out kids.. Those kids are fucked.
Sure. But being in other long term relationships helped me realize what I wanted in a partner in order to settle down. What personalities work best with me etc.
From the way you talk about your cats, I really do think you have children, just not in human form. I'm often impressed at the lengths you go for your pets. Not everyone should have kids. I have friends who have replaced that desire with other things. In some cases, it's a pet or pets. In another, I have a friend of mine who never wanted kids but became a teacher. She fulfills her maternal desires through teaching others.
There are some pretty obvious similarities between having pets and having kids. Pets are just easier.
A maternal or paternal instinct doesn't have to be a strict parental relationship. My wife takes care of me and I take care of her, in much the same way we take care of our child.
I can't obviously comment on someone else's relationship but it seems to me "taking care of" a spouse is different from "taking care of" a child. A child is not really an equal relationship; it can't be, at least until the "child" is an adult.
Only if you are 1) straight and 2) fertile I can have all the gay sex I want. Hell, I am of the age when a woman can have all the straight sex she wants.
