For Sly. We have the: USS Eisenhower, Roosevelt, Lincoln, Washington, Truman, Reagan, and Bush. And I will tell you Sly, I have served 6 years in the US Navy, 40 years in business and several years working for myself. I know of no one that thinks this fellow is of the stature of the names on that list. But perhaps they exist. Now if you don't think this is a valid topic for an off topic forum, then step up and ban my ass, you have the hammer. Bringing a snarky ass comment just won't cut it.

I already knew that Carter got a small one (not an ICBM sub), and that Kennedy got a big one. I was just picking on Marazul's sentence. Strange how every Republican, even a minor one like Ford, gets a supercarrier (except Nixon, who still embarrasses them), while Johnson (who was brought down by his party for being pro-war) and Clinton (the Republicans got ships while alive) have been left out. When Johnson finally gets only a destroyer in 2018, he'll have been dead 47 years. Republican Theodore Roosevelt has a supercarrier. Democrat Franklin Roosevelt, a generation closer in time with WW2, and stopping the Depression from destroying us, gets a destroyer.

Besides, I'm the only one here who can genuinely make you upset, because I've been reading the same nonchalant act for 10 years. Why do you think I care at all about who "dislikes" me on this board? Obviously, after 15 years on the internet, I kind of know my posting style, and how it aggravates some people. At least I've stayed consistent. You've gone from a serious poster on ESPN to a goofball act here. Why?
