    I've NEVER been a fan of Girardi but this year, hell I don't know if the Yankees are still in the hunt because of him or in spite of him.

    This is one of those years where it is impossible to evaluate the manager with the exception of given the roster that he has had, being over 500, to me is amazing, considering his pal Cashman has given him so much talent to work with.

    I don't think I've ever been that angry with the exception of Richter allowing that Ron Francis goal in 1992. That being said I'm getting more and more disgusted with this organization from the two idiot sons on down.

    I've never been a huge Girardi fan either but armed with the above information one would have to give Joe G serious consideration for MOY honors. That man has stayed in the game with many marbles missing from his bag.

    I can't blame Girardi for this season... look at the cast he has had to deal with this year... considering all the players on the DL, you cannot blame Girardi

    And the holes were always found. Then I learned how to fix them properly which saved my brother and I a few times.

    if Girardi has this team still in it for a playoff spot in the last few weeks of the season - he should be in the running for manager of year.
