I get what you are trying to say, even if it was presented in a profoundly ignorant manner, but I'm sorry, no one player on a baseball team has as much impact as a goalie in hockey. Period. The only position that comes close would be pitching, and they are a dime a dozen, as each team has several on any given day. Now, if you meant contract wise, I can see what you meant also, but again, its really difficult to decipher what your original intent was as you just posted a little blurb to get everyone all riled up. The other problem with that analogy is that, as far as I know, Baseball hasn't implemented a salary cap, so any contract comparisons are completely moot and unwarranted.

On top of all of that, Arod has a juicing problem, a problem that hasn't really come up in hockey. While I'm sure it happens, the difference is that I have never seen a headline in any hockey related news about so and so taking steroids. I can, however recall plenty of instances from baseball, notably Arod, Bonds, Mcguire, Sosa, Consaco, and more, but thats what I can list without google.

They play in NYC, and make more money than most of us will ever see. Thats where the comparison ends.
