This story hit me pretty hard this morning. Here is a guy who is doing everything the right way, has so much promise for the future and it all ends because because these three just decide they want to kill someone that day. There is no fairness involved in this in any way shape or form. It's times like this I wish I was religious so I can think there might be some kind of justice involved here for both the victim and his family and the three "kids" But all I feel when I think about this story is anger and emptiness.

The Oklahoma "youths" be wildin'. Its not because they were "bored", that's bullshit. they wanted to kill because they thought they could and get away with it because they think they're badass.

I think Mamba is the only one going to be called raciest, well at least his signature.

I really didn't want to bring up the Trayvon case. It's over. Even though he's free, Zimmerman's life will never be the same. But these constant postings of horrific crimes are meant to some how show bias against crimes against whites, when in fact they are not similar to the Trayvon case at all. Regardless of your opinion in the Zimmerman case, it was a very complicated situation, which leads to complicated and diverse reactions. As for this example it is just a simple, but very brutal, acts of violence that everyone can agree deserves the maximum punishment possible (aside from life vs death penalty debate).

They were black, and there was a lot of black anger in recent weeks. One has to wonder if they weren't influenced by this black anger to kill a random white person. "Justice for Trayvon" so to speak.

I imagine Masbee and PapaG scouring the news, feverishly looking for instances of black on white violence, getting instant rage-boners when they find something they can vomit all over this forum.

I was going to post a rant. But I got distracted and was suddenly feeling very warm and patriotic. I think I started reading something by Mamba, but I..... just..... can't....... remember.

Yah, this is where I struggle in understanding "God" and "higher powers". If there is a great and almighty God, then how does senseless shit like this happen day after day? I too only feel anger and resentment towards these 3 cowards. I won't lie, maybe it makes me a horrible horrible person, but I feel like they should just have a bullet put between their eyes if they are found guilty and save taxpayers the money to house them in prison. People like this do not deserve to live.

Right. Luckily for those of us who don't want to look at that train wreck of a website, we can just come to the OT section of S2.

    Me too, HCP.

OK. My bad. I apologize, sincerely, to Papa G. No excuses. He'd started similar threads and I did not read closely.

    Whatever else I said stands.

The woman with the flag over her boobs would excite outrage OUTRAGE I TELL YOU if she were at the Folsom Street Fair. WHY AREN'T YOU PROTECTING CHILDREN BECAUSE JESUS. Funny how some nudity is harmless....

The woman? That's Kate Upton. And her boobs likely will be saving children's lives..... someday. In the mean time, they are nice to look it, don't you think?

Well, if you had really read the title, you'd had more than likely figured it to be a white guy. You might have missed the "Australian" in the title.

Besides that...... Baseball seemingly is more white and latino than anything else. There's a lot of talk as to why there aren't more blacks in baseball during these current times. So if you were going to play a current stereotype..... you played it incorrectly.

Anyone else find this post a wee bit ironic? I mean, you start your first rant with "Ever look a fact in the face?"

You apparently didn't know who started the thread. And you made assumptions about the races because you "did not read (too) closely."

Yeah, I dunno. Maybe it's just me. But I do find it a wee bit ironic.

See, this is the weird thing about this forum: we seem to hate each other, take pleasure in seeing each other fail in some small way, and yet we don't just go away from each other like normal people would. Why is that?

Well, actually, you're wrong (as far as my post goes).

I think crandc's original post on PapaG was complete BS and unnecesssary, and as later discovered, based on lazy reading (or lack of reading). I don't hate anyone here; it's part of why I'm pointing this out: to stick up for someone unjustly being put on blast. I still meant it light-hearted. Isn't that what the LOL emoticon is for?

So, yeah. When someone unfairly gets put on blast, I'm going to call that person out. You don't do the same? Are you a bystander? You just go about your business?
