All of the lower 48. Never been to Alaska or Hawaii. Internationally, I've been to Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Italy, East Germany (when there still was one), Austria, and I looked across the border into Belgium. Kicking myself for never taking advantage of the opportunity to go to Spain, England, Ireland, and Greece while I was stationed in Germany.
You forgot Switzerland. Man, that is one helluva beautiful country (and so are the ladies). You should be kicking yourself for missing on going there, too.
For the record, the states I haven't been to......Wyoming,Montana,New Mexico,S.Dakota,Nebraska,W.Virginia,Maine,Vermont,N.Hampshire,Deleware
An official count for me includes Oregon, Washington, California, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, south Dakota, north Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado and new Mexico.
Yeah, you're right, although I figured the Bavarian Alps in southern Germany and northern Austria were probably close. Berchtesgaden will be the first place I go if and when I ever go back to Europe.
What's the best state you've been to? My honeymoon is in Hawaii so I don't feel ready to answer that until I come back
Best state I have been to is Nevada. Actually the state isn't all that great. Just the city of Las Vegas (or even more specifically the Strip and Freemont St.) puts it #1 so far. Haven't been to Hawaii yet though.
Vegas is great for about 48-72 hours at a time. After that..... I'm ready to go home and have no desire to return for another 10-12 months.
I've been to Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Virginia, DC, New Jersey, Pennslyvania, New York, and Massachusetts. Coming up at the end of the month will be able to cross off Alabama, Georgia and Florida as I'm going to the Wazzu/Auburn game to kick off the college football season. A little over halfway to reaching all 50!
Did you see it pre or post Katrina or both? If both then how does it compare? I have heard it was even better before.
