    I've never understood it, why spend all sorts of time for no pay when all you ever get in return are people nitpicking your actions and complaining?

    Also, why be dicks to mods?

    I really don't get this either. The mods are just trying to help the community, why do certain posters always drop turds on them (except SPD, that makes sense).

    Most of us have belonged to forums that were poorly moderated. A shitty or power hungry mod can destroy a forum.

    I mod because I think I do it a little differently and a little better.
