On Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. ET/10:00 a.m. PT, chat about Apple's new products with Yahoo News technology editors and columnists. The tech giant is expected to release a new slate of iPhones, as well as reveal more information about the release of iOS 7. (Short version: An iPhone 5S with the same design as the iPhone 5, but with an improved processor and a fingerprint sensor to lock and unlock the phone; a cheaper iPhone 5C, aimed at emerging markets, in multiple colors; and a release date for iOS 7, the mobile operating system introduced at an Apple event earlier this summer.) Our company is getting 6 of the 5s and the new mac pro tower. It won't happen until they actually release them. Sep 20th seems to be the date for the phone and a couple weeks later for the tower.

 

I have absolutely no use for it, but the new Mac Pros are sick. I haven't followed the announcements today, is there actually a release date on them? Or price?

 

Not yet. Patiently waiting. I am just going by the rumors.

Ah. I haven't followed the Mac Pro rumors all that carefully. Mostly because I'm not going to buy one. My rMBP gets a little hot when doing photo editing, so I would love one (with a thunderbolt display), but all that is just a pipe dream. One day..
