The more I've read on this, the more disturbing it is. But I don't know that it's our job to go in and "fix" a culture. There's far worse problems out there, globally, but I think we should be starting at home first.
Pretty screwed up. If the citizens of Yemen accept this behavior I don't know what to think. Reminds me of Sandusky case in that its not so unexpected there is a single creepy screwed up person out there; but so many adults could prevent this and instead they all turn a blind eye or blatantly allow this behavior to take place.
It's not just this maggot that's to blame, but that poor girl's fucked-up family. They all deserve to burn.
and we're good. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/10/yemen-8-year-old-girl-death_n_3899712.html?ir=UK
After no details appeared, I was going to post tonight, to ask whether this is just more manhater propaganda to draw us into war. I see I was right. These have been very major news stories. Remember the pre-Iraq I testimony from an average Saudi to Congress of troops killing Kuwaiti babies (the testifier was later disclosed to be a right-wing princess who hid from the media after they found out), Iraq II's rape rooms (Denny still falls for that juvenile nonsense), the Libyan woman barging into the international fact-finding meeting to cry rape (she was awarded a job in Colorado for that), and a month ago some similar rape story in Syria (by now the media was onto the trick and questioned it as being the same old BS). Here's the latest. Some intelligence liar says that the West isn't trying to replace the popular government in Syria with a regressive Religious Right hellhole, devoid of modern comforts like electricity, plumbing, and air conditioning in the desert (the same as the U.S. did to to Iraq). http://www.mcclatchydc.com/2013/09/11/201843/think-tank-fires-syria-analyst.html
As Lincoln said, "War propaganda can fool all the warmongers some of the time, and some of the warmongers all of the time, but only temporarily except for Denny." He got elected in 1860 on that plank.
I tried to defend you, but it was an 8 days ride into Washington. Snookum stopped responding to sugar cubes.
The facts aren't on your side. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/1940050.stm Twenty-eight members voted in favour of the resolution, four voted against and 21 states abstained. The proposal accuses President Saddam Hussein's government of "systematic, widespread and extremely grave violations of human rights and international humanitarian law". It demands that Iraq should immediately put an end to its "summary and arbitrary executions... the use of rape as a political tool and all enforced and involuntary disappearances".
So your evidence for rape rooms is this. In the war fever of 2002, Britain and the U.S. made many accusations to grease the wheels toward war. 10 years after taking over the country, you must have many people lined up who saw rape rooms. Can you list a couple hundred here, as space allows?
Wait. What? Obama wants to go to war with Yemen? Do you think he wanted a 'boots on the ground war, or just to lob a few missiles at the homes of some child molesters? So, are you saying that President Obama is trying to replace the popular government in Syria with a regressive Religious Right hellhole, devoid of modern comforts like electricity, plumbing, and air conditioning in the desert (the same as the U.S. did to to Iraq)? Go Blazers
How about you prove your own lies? 28 nations voted on this resolution that specifically mentions the use of rape as a political tool. That would be the USA and Britain, but also 26 others. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...movie-zainab-salbi-remembers-uday-s-lust.html http://www.editinternational.com/read.php?id=47ddcef722fca http://abcnews.go.com/2020/story?id=123751&page=1 &c
