Yes, winning in a 7-9 season. Really? I'd say you're better than that, but it proves how weak Seattle's history is. Thanks for proving the point.

Nice win, really. But I'm not worried.

All things considered this was a huge game for both teams. These two teams will be fighting each other for the division and home field advantage all season long. I don't think either teams wants to play the other away frome home.

It was for the playoffs... Who cares about your record going in? 7-9 obviously didn't matter when we dominated the defending champs that year in the playoffs.

Always love to see fan of losing team bring up team history when his team is getting smoked.

That's like the definition of being butthurt.

    Lol.

Love fans of teams with no history acting like one game makes their history.

Good win for the Hawks to tonight. Really, like I said earlier. But you've still got nothing. I'd say act like you've been there.

But you haven't. Congrats on the evening.

It's week two. Not that huge. If Seattle comes to SF later and does this, then I'd be concerned. As most pundits said this week, pressure is on Seattle. Hats off for them taking care of business.

What does history have to do with the game tonight?

Like I said, my raiders have lots of history and have been a joke the last ten years. Should the raiders have rolled into the game today acting like the Shit because of the history compared to the jaguars today?

Every game can mean something at the end of the year when you're fighting for the division and home field advantage.

I'm definitely excited for the rematch. I expect san Fran to win at home.

Yea i'm not getting that argument either. My Cowboys have a History that Rivals that of the 49ers but have they been relevant in the last 15 years? Not really. Hell the seahawks have just as many trips to the Superbowl and 2 more NFC Division titles since the Seahawks were put into the NFC west in 2002. None of that History matters at all when its gameday.

So you'd be ok with a Chicago bears fan coming in and Shitting all over you because they have more championships?

Lol. I'm pretty sure they don't have more Championships. One game means nothing, is my point. For a franchise with no legacy, this victory is big, as the media says. I rarely bet. This weekend I did because I had some unexpected cash. Netted $1400 and shocked. Bet against my own team too. Really, make a deal of it, but it's a sporting event. One game. Not upset.

You prove yourself dumb, though. I don't know, but off the top of my head, the Bears have won 1-2 SB's, right? They have one of the most prolific HOF crews in the NFL, but they aren't known for their Championships. Not in the NFL, at least.

Technically the bears have 9 league championships.

If you're speaking super bowls only, I could have said the Pittsburgh Steelers.

If you're talking pre-Super Bowl, GTFO. How many of us that post here can speak to that? They haven't been relevant in decades.

Steelers have 6 to the Niners 5. There aren't more stores franchises than SF.

We've had many games like tonight.

Lets kick out all teams other than the niners, Steelers and cowboys. They are the most storied franchises, all other teams shouldn't be able to play them because history tells us they are awesome.

Niners don't look like the same team this year. Defensively they're still solid, but the offense looks very suspect. Lots of problems. Gore looks completely ineffective and Kaepernick looks confused about how to be effective in the offense. They've got a lot to figure out before they'll get back to the Superbowl.

Kaep looks confused as to whether he's a pocket QB or the multi-dimensional stud he is. He'll figure it out over time. Not worried. He's barely been a starter in this league.
