    Saw a Rosenthal article on Girardis options with one possibility being the new manager of the Washington Nationals. Could you see him referring to Bryce Harper as Harpy?

    If he gets that opportunity I think he jumps at it and deserts this sinking ship

    We knew the Yankees were going to be in trouble but Washington, talk about sinking ships, they were picked to win the World Series this year even after choking to the Cardinals last year. But the Rosenthal article did point out all the free agency moves Girardi could make and Washington was one. Maybe the AL Champion Blue Jays would hire him. No chance for the Cubs, they wouldn't hire Sandberg so Joe has no chance.
