Walt telling Jesse about Jane was the end of their relationship. He blames Jesse for Hank's death as much as he does Jack, it seems. Jesse has no love left for him either, obviously. Could finish on a standoff between those two.

Regarding the blue meth and Grey Matter--hubris is the motivator bringing Walt back to Albuquerque (or Heisenberg, rather). That and the fact he's dying and wants to go out like Scarface, a film the series not so subtly referenced earlier.

Also saw an interesting theory online that you may or may not want to read regarding the ricin and who it might be for:

Lydia, who could have it put in her tea in place of the stevia she uses (the show's pointed this out to us at least twice)

The interview with the Schwartz's is genius. There's a huge parallel with whats happening to Walt's empire and what happened to him with Gray Matter. He never got any credit or money out of Gray Matter, and hes seeing the same thing happening with his meth empire. We know that the interview got him paying attention, but we don't know what hes going after now. Vengeance on the Schwartz's? Seems sort of far fetched, but I wouldn't be that surprised. Revenge on the Nazis seems obvious and he suggested that he'll go after them when he spoke with Saul in the last episode. He doesn't know where their base is though right? I think hes smart enough to figure out that Jesse is alive, but is he motivated to find him and is it to save him or kill him?

Walt knows hes done for. He has nothing left besides his pride. He wants to go get some vengeance and at least show the world that Walter White didn't go down without a fight. But wouldn't Skylar benefit from Walt turning himself in? She's taking it up the ass from the feds because she can't give them Walt. If Walt shows up and takes the heat she should have a decent shot at getting off, or at least it would make life easier for her and the kids. Walt's journey has been feueled by his own selfishness since he cracked the ~$700k and change he initially wanted to leave for his family. It looked like he was about to finally give up and turn himself in, but the interview changed his mind. Can't wait to see what he does.

How fucking badass was the theme song in that last scene though? And the whiskey glass half full...

That's a repped take that I hadn't considered. I thought Walt got pissed because he figured out that Pinkman was making blue meth. I didn't think that Pinkman doesn't really matter at this point, and that it's more about credit that he deserves. He basically built Gray Matter, just as he perfected the blue meth using an ingredient that didn't contain over the counter pills.

Admittedly, I got it from reddit, but at least give me credit for this post not too long ago:

I want credit for this post, while Saul isn't dead being a manager at a Cinnabon is almost as bad.

But when they were talking about the blue meth, they were talking about Walter White possibly still being out there making it. So he kind of was getting the credit. I don't know, I just don't see that parallel much.

    Never seen what? Breaking Bad?

Wow, I envy you. I would love to have 5 seasons ahead of me to watch. Absolute classic television show, brilliant, one of the bests.

As far as that Charlie Rose scene. I think what triggered Walt was hearing the Blue was still on the street. So he knows Jessie was still alive cooking. I think the Grey Matter people claiming he did nothing but help create the name really pissed him off.

He has always felt like a father figure to Jessie......so he is heading back to help break him out. The M-60 is for the Nazis, the Ricen is for Lydia's tea. My guess is he frees Jessie and Jessie turns around and kills Walt in the last scene.

At one point I thought the Ricen was for Walt himself..... but who knows.

I am thinking I will re-watch the entire series after this is all over. I bet there are so many little hints that are suggested throughout. I would like to see how well they were planned. Nothing in this series seemed on a whim. It was all part of a master plan!

I think there will be a scene where Jesse has the chance to kill Walt, but chooses not to.

Man, when this ends, Game of Thrones will be the only must watch show on tv for me. Mad Men has really fallen off for me, and there is just nothing else that is as good on right now.

I have Dexter and have always wanted to watch it.......but I just saw that after all those seasons, that it has a real bad series finale! Please don't spoil it here, but heard many people say the ending sucked! Kinda' makes me not want to watch it now.

Boardwalk Empire, Newsroom, Game of Thrones... basically every HBO series is all the TV shows I watch. I really like Hell on Wheels on AMC, although it took a while to get into it, I think the first two seasons are on Netflix.
