    No disrespect, maxiep, but he had become so toxic that I think this is for the best. He is one of 3 or 4 posters that essentially destroy threads and make it difficult for all. There has to be a limit and he surpassed his.

    I missed all this so a PM with the lowdown would be greatly appreciated. I thought Papa was making strides to be a better community member. I, for one, will miss his contributions. He was over the top at times, but was trying to be better. Most of the people that he argued with (lately, that is.....) Took two to tango.

    So, without knowing the specifics, this is disappointing. The application of punishment here seems to be inconsistent.

    That being said, game on.

    Papag paid up on a $200 bet, so he is good in my book.

    Having said that, the mods didn't really have a choice. Forget the personal insults and who said what first, papag was literally asking to get banned. Once you reach that mentality where you want to get banned, you can and will say anything. So it turned into papag daring the mods to ban him by being as inflammatory as he possibly can be. When you reach that stage, you either ban (or suspend) him or let him take over the board.

    I view this community board, especially the OT board, sort of like my cyber family. I've learned through time that just because you are family, doesn't mean you will automatically agree on politics, religion and other things (how to raise kids). And being family it is really easy to voice your opinion. It often leads to heated disagreements. But in the end they are still family . . . and who I enjoy spending my free time with.

    Papag imploded leaving the mods no choice. I hope after cooler heads prevail, we open are arms to papag and all enjoy another Blazer season. It is what we would all want and hope for from our family.
