    A loose stitch? Remind me to avoid that doctor. He's going to miss 4-6 weeks of the regular season? Considering that's a total of 8-10 weeks (with training camp and preseason), that must be one loose stitch.

    I agree with this statement. This injury can cause 2 things.

    1.) Fear within himself that he will get this injury again and play more timid.

    2.) His knee doesn't have the explosiveness that was such an advantage against his opponents.

    1 of them is bad enough and there is a possibility that both can happen.

    I think it will unfortunately make the Thunder a stronger team. Durant and the Thunder looked a little lost and were having problems getting easy baskets after Westbrook went down. Durant will learn, the team will learn how to get good looks with him not on the floor. Even if he isn't as mobile when he comes back the team will still be better than if he had never left.

    @KevinDing: Thing about Russell Westbrook's knee: Thunder tried to repair, not remove, damaged cartilage. Complications with that route are very common.
