    my mom broke her hip 2 months ago. Following a successful surgery where a plate with 2 screws was attached, she's been slowly on the mend and is just now ditching the walker. The thing is there wasn't a fall or specific event that she can point to as causing the break. Being 71 now, she's got osteoporoses... basically getting old sucks

    Well the physical therapist tried moving her leg and it still really hurts. I'm trying to explain to my mom that the sooner she shows progress, the sooner she will be released. Still waiting on the report from the charge nurse
