Go back through the thread. You will see that I saw MM's post and didn't edit it. Julius saw MM's post and didn't edit it. To be honest I thought it was vile and inappropriate but I did not think it was a personal insult. So it's not "the mods". It was Brian who thought that post was inappropriate and he removed it. But also he PM'd MM and told him he removed it and invited to talk with him about it. This morning I had a PM from Crandc asking about why I didn't remove that very same post. I told her that I while I thought that post was offensive I didn't think it was a personal insult. I'm just not buying this big double standard conspiracy from the Mods. I know what I do and why I do it and it has never once been because of a vendetta I have against anyone here. But more importantly, Brian is a good guy. He's a hell of a lot more fair and a lot better mod then I will ever be. If he makes a decision to edit something on here why not give him the benefit of the doubt instead of accusing him of not being fair? Because that's what you're doing. You can see who edited the post. Why not just ask him about it instead of saying what he did was bullshit and censorship.
Please. The statement was designed specifically to rile up one specific person. It was patently offensive and completely at odds with the generally safe and friendly tone of the thread. If MM had some specific knowledge about my sexuality that made me unique in this group, and used it to create a post that was as disgusting as the one Brian edited, I'd have reported the shit out of it.
ok, like I said, I'm going to lose my virginity today. Going out to some bars after the blazers game. wish me luck!
I'm going to admit that was distasteful; but not a personal insult. Will you drop it now? Everyone in here knew what you were trying to do. I just don't understand why you would? Are you just baiting to have another thing you can complain to the mods?
One did. I didn't know each mod is supposed to be able to delete anything they find "inappropriate", but now I do. Sent from my banana using Tapatalk 4
I'm going to agree with this. That post was designed to attack a poster; just found a loop hole to not make it a personal insult.
My mistake. I was reading the "quote". Didn't realize they actually edited the original comment. Either way; it was designed to piss crandc off; using a vulgar approach too. I think there are ways to get under people's skin without that type of tactic. I actually think it was more of a bait for MM to have another thing to complain about
You can flag it all you want, that doesn't mean it should be deleted. Sent from my banana using Tapatalk 4
I think it should, not for being a personal insult, but for trolling; if we're going to talk loop holes and letter of the law, I contend he was trolling crandc, trying to start a fight.
I agree with you 100%. It was aggressively lewd and graphic and aimed at one person. It was a personal attack.
That wasn't what I was saying at all. My point was that making or supporting accusations that "the mods" have some united secret double standard agenda against people is not true and that we don't always agree on everything or see things the same way but we do try to be fair.
Did I say all mods? If I did, I didn't mean to. I was just talking about this instance. Sent from my banana using Tapatalk 4
I never said a word about it. I was responding to someone else, and Sly and others are the ones discussing it. Not me. I have nothing to drop. But since YOU brought it up, the reason I said anything to begin with was because someone had to open there big mouth about equality with gay men and lesbians, so I asked the question about dildos. All is good in my world, mags
Make sure you check for the Adam's apple.....unless of course you like that...not that there is anything wrong with that
Wouldn't her post introducing the whole gay and lesbian factor in the first place be trolling or trying to start a fight? Just curious. To reiterate, I never complained about it being deleted. Brian PMed me, told me it was deleted, I said there were plenty of threads and posts much more vulgar, and we left it at that.
