Dumb penalties, turnovers, poor pass defense.

Even if they win this game, they can't beat a decent team playing like this. I hope it will be a wake-up call. I fear it is a foreshadowing.

Just two things that I've noticed about MM in the past that he really needs to correct.

One, he needs to tuck the ball when he starts to run. He's always done this, and it's biting him in the ass tonight.

Two, MM needs to realize when a play is dead and just go down or throw it away. Both fumbles were from him fighting it too much and getting stripped.

He holds the ball with one hand too long in the pocket.

I don't know, it's his comfort doing exactly that which makes him so damned dangerous.

It's a bad habit. Colin Kaepernick does it too, but he's even worse. He'll carry the ball in his throwing hand the whole way on a TD run.

True but RB's are taught to put a second hand on the ball after about 2 seconds. He keeps holding it with one. That is how he lost the one fumble.

That's how he lost both fumbles.

Need to score here and shut down their confidence a bit.

They haven't been able to stop the run at all. Just run the fucking ball.

Just passed Kaepernick on the list of QB's with a running TD and a passing TD.
