Either boo him or do nothing. He certainly doesn't deserve any cheers. I'd boo him, but not as much as Felton. He got injured and never took his rehab seriously, then tried to make excuses on his way out the door and take a shot at the city of Portland. Why anyone would cheer him is beyond me.
I remember Greg would come to watch games and then leave at halftime. Way to support the team. Could he have cared any less?
I don't think he ever really cared that much about basketball. I think the only reason why he's back is because he never got the payday that would secure him for life. He only had his rookie contract and then the one year deal that we gave him. He needs to succeed this time so he can get a decent contract.
Greg Oden is not going to last long. You don't get injured that often and stay out that long unless something is seriously wrong withyou.
I think that's bullshit. If he didn't care then he shouldn't have tried coming back. Obviously he does! He turned his back on this city.
Walton did. Grant Hill did. Yeah, it's rare. Yeah, he may hurt himself tomorrow. But when remotely mobile and kinda-sorta healthy and mostly in-shape, he was pretty devastating.
Do you 'give a shit' about your day job when you are partying? There's a time and a place for everything. Getting away from work and its pressures is healthy.
Get a grip, everyone. Oden is an accident waiting to happen. It may not be today, or tomorrow, but it will be soon. He is simply too fragile to withstand any extended time on the court. The only thing that will be "painful" will be watching him crumple to the court again.

Haters gonna hate. That much is obvious. Oden never turned his back on this city and he always took his rehab seriously. People that think otherwise are just making stuff up.
You don't know that he took his rehab seriously, any more than someone knows that he didn't. The only people who truly know what happened with Oden certainly aren't posting here.
