If you can afford a pro, it's a better computer. The air is more for mobility. The Pro has more bang for your buck, faster and usually more powerful.
At least I try and post links when people ask for it. I want to know if your 95.5% of users use it for Web Surfing and emails. Seems like you pulled that number from your asshole.
The top 5 apps I use are: 1. xcode 2. webstorm 3. chrome 4. mail 5. gotomeeting But sure. I don't use my machine to its capability. LOL.
LOL. Yeah, IDEs are just incredibly compute and hardware intensive! You clearly haven't been around real compute-intensive work. It cracks me up when people SWEAR they are hardcore users. They ABSOLUTELY NEED the performance! :MARIS61:
Yeah it was a pretty sweet deal. They are normally $700 but I got it on sale and signed up for an HP promo email list that sent me a coupon too so the $435 price isn't normal. Even at $600 it'd be a great computer though.
Yes, it does. The fact that you don't even know what you don't know, proves my point. HAHA! LOL! If you think IDEs are compute intensive, you should stop by for a tour someday.
