I love pro bball and NCAA football, but never really get that into college bball until march madness. I can't figure out why I don't like it more. I'll watch a bunch of games every year expecting to love it, but I never have that same excitement of enjoyment I get from nba or football. Anyone else like this? I mean, it's better than baseball or soccer, but far far below the sports I love.
The one and dones took the love out of college hoops for me. But with the freshman class comin' up.....I'll be watching a ton this winter.
College sports bore me. Pompous coaches, no parity, winners chosen by computer or by political influence, no actual best team, no real playoffs, lame rules of play...
Nope just slow white guys who will crush playing against St. Marys but fail once they actually have to play against talented athletic black players.
Zzzzzzz... It's not a real playoff, and it's not even the best college teams in the country. It's a failed attempt to achieve an impossible result. Not saying you shouldn't enjoy it, just that I have zero interest in college sports.
I'm a "big game" fan. Unless the Ducks have a good team it's hard for me to follow what's going on... Too many teams. But I love big matchups and the tournaments. I also enjoy the closer attention to fundamentals and team ball.
True blue Tar Heels fan here. I grew up watching the Tobacco Road Rivalry. So many NBA greats play college ball in North Carolina: Kyrie Irving, Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, Tim Duncan, etc... The ACC is a fun conference to follow.
I watch out of NBA draft interest, but the quality of play is so far below NBA, I have a hard time enjoying most games. People too often confuse the sloppy frenzy at the end of a lot of tournament games for great excitement, and good basketball, and then tell me about how bad the NBA is because of too many travels and one on one play. Bleh.
