    I am getting old . . . if it's not the Blazers, I'll watch it only if I happen to be watching TV and flipping at the time.

    Once the Blazers become relevant again, I could see myself getting obsessed with the NBA again.

    He's talking about the rest of the NBA. He's not saying he doesn't watch and support the Blazers.

    I don't have time to follow every team in the league, but I certainly watch the Blazers as much as possible, good or bad. And I waste a lot of time with you chumps here. If that doesn't say "true fan", I don't know what does. I think the same applies for ToB.
