That was our most efficient lineup that we've seen so far.

I really hope I'm wrong. I absolutely love Matthews. Something just doesn't seem right man.

Why would you play Lillard at SG? Lillard has enough issues on defense, let alone watching PG after PG dribble around Miller like he's stuck in mud.

About MCW, he didn't work out for Portland, and didn't want to play here. We all posted about this quite a bit before the draft.

I don't think that at all. But the coach needs to put in and offense calling for him to create using his threat. We need to see a whole lot more of getting the ball to big people coming to the ball and the hoop
in the same motion. Damian could be outstanding doing it but the coach has to set the tone with plays to execute.

I think so, too. Why haven't we seen it more to find out if it's for real?

I am not sure I want to see that kind of an offense. We only have one big who can score. And he was 12-22. So he got quality shots tonight. Do we have any other bigs? Not happy with the style of O we run, but not sure our bigs are the answer

I would have much rather seen Thomas Robinson over Joel Freeland.

Joel played 12 minutes and TRob played 9.......did he really play over Robinson?

Those are 12 minutes that Robinson could have played. I still think the rotation should be Aldridge, Lopez, and Robinson. Just rotate Lopez out first, then have Lopez come in for Aldridge.

Freeland had 4 rebounds in 12 minutes, but again, I thought this wasn't a thread about pointing fingers? So many off-topic diversions in it. :dunno:

How is that pointing fingers? I think that Robinson is the better player. I think he should be playing more minutes. Did I blame Freeland for the loss?

No, you blamed Wes for the loss, then said not to point fingers. Then, you brought up Freeland out of the blue.

If the idea is to run an on-topic board, which I think would be awesome, then at the very least the OP should keep the thread on topic.

Typical PapaG. Worried more about the meta debate. There were five threads bashing the team tonight. Why do you choose this one to derail? Oh, that's right, because I started it. Carry on.

I posted about Lillard as SG, and how I think it's a bad idea because of his skillset, which I compare to a Derrick Rose PG.

As for picking out this thread, that's not at all the case, Nate, and I didn't derail the thread. You did, IMO, by bringing up stats about Wes, getting them wrong, and then talking about finger-pointing being a no-no, while afterward going back to finger-pointing.

Just making sure you realize that you are a part of the problem, and not the victim.

I brought up Wes in the OP because this is a thread about Lillard playing shooting guard....... which is... what? Wes' position! Bringing up Wes' struggles were tantamount to the topic at hand.

I said that it wasn't a thread for finger pointing because you started bringing up other players that played poorly tonight. Wes and his poor play is directly related to the subject at hand.

    Get it?
