Really??? Over stick handled, gave away puck, led to odd man rush. He does that at least 3 times a game. That and he will simply throw the puck somewhere whenever he sees an opposing player headed towards him to check him.
Good game tonight. Team played well. Good to see. Get Cally back next weekend sometime. Pray that Nash comes back sometime in November. And away we go hopefully.
They need Stepan and DZ to step up offensively to help stabilize them while the injured guys are out. Those 2 are pretty much invisible right now.
MDZ gave the puck away once. That is exactly what I'm talking about. Our dumbass fan base hears that one time during a game and then says he stinks. Absurd. His pass setup up the winning goal in Detroit but nobody said crap. Newsflash, every defenseman in hockey turns the puck over during games. It happens all the time. It's just a matter what kind of scoring chance the turnover leads to. Stralman was a train-wreck last night. Not one fan said a thing about it.
Nobody says boo about strahlman ...why ...because he is considered a 6 dman not someone who has the skills that was expected from del zerro. The kind if skills that can make him go blueline to blueline only to fan on the shot. His shot needs a laser scoope attached to his stick to find the net. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
I wonder if dump even watches the whole game. Yes, MDZ makes some good plays ONCE in a while. The thing with him is he makes a good play then he will screw up on the next 3. Like Al said above, expectations are too high for him from the fans.
I've tended to agree with dump regarding DZ, I don't think he's nearly as bad as some people on here make him out to be but I still think he should be flipped for a forward. That said, how can you consider Stralman a "train-wreck"? I think he's been real solid. He's playing in the top 4 now and I don't think he looks out of place at all. DZ aside, I think Moore has been a bigger liability this year so far than Stralman. Moore made an awful play in the MTL game that led to the kicked in goal.
Stralman can make some boneheaded plays once in awhile, but he's far more reliable than DZ, and just as good offensively in my opinion. I don't know why they don't use him on the pp more. DZ is just too timid by nature, yeah he's got some sizzle at times, but more often than not he's a liability defensively. Thankfully he does have decent value because of his ability to rush the puck, but the more teams watch him they realize it's a double edged sword with him.
