I honestly forgot he was still in the league. Outlaw can score, just make sure he is falling sideways and has a hand in his face when he shoots it.

Does anyone get the feeling that the Thunder are in deep shit even when Westbrook comes back? They will make the playoffs but I think they're in Knicks territory now. Yeah they have their two scorers and shot effector KD+RW+SI but they have absolute shit at the 5, shit at the 2, and no backup for KD. They should've given Harden his money.

They should have done a lot of things and definitely paying Harden being the #1 thing. Their lack of a real scoring threat and lack of depth in general is very frightening. Whats worse for the Thunder is that their owners have shown that making money is their #1 priority and they will no go into the luxury tax or amnesty someone and pay them for not playing so they can add quality shooters. With the messages that ownership group has sent i'd be worried for the future of Durant/Westbrook if I was a Thunder fan.

I think Durant will leave after his contract and try to hookup with Harden again tbh. I think Westbrook wants to be "the guy" and the Thunder will have to build around him which could end up looking like a worse Chicago or an AI team of the mid 2000s.

I agree with Durant leaving but I think Westbrook will leave as well. He wants to be the man and there are a few organizations who could really suck in the next few years and are bigger more glamorous markets that would pay him the max, LA is one if they miss out on the big tickets and decide to really rebuild.

Westbrook would stay. Money talks and he would get more of it there than anywhere else.

I don't know if he would get more money staying in OKC. He would get the max but which is 7.5% raises instead of 5, I think, and an extra year but if he goes to a top 5 market it seems like he could make up for the loss of guaranteed money with endorsement deals. I'm not saying Westbrook will leave but if the right team has the money he might bail.

I don't think Oklahoma has income tax. That factors in.

    (a) That's bullshit
    (b) Lillard tore up Summer League, too. MCW looked BAD in Summer League.

The whole Sixers team is looking good right now. Was last season just an illusion? Or is it the magic effect of gaining the superstar that is MCW?

Re: OKC. Do we know Harden left because of money? I mean, maybe he wanted to be The Man anyway.

I think OKC's biggest mistake was not offering Westbrook for Chris Paul. I think Harden would've stayed then. Imagine a team of Paul, Durant and Harden...

What am I saying? Clearly OKC's biggest mistake was not drafting Michael Carter-Williams.

If philly does end up with Wiggins or jabari and then adds the pelicans #9 or so, and has noel coming back, they could be ridiculous next year

Harden never asked to be traded. They couldn't come up with a contract extension because Harden wanted the max and OKC didn't want to pay him the max. Harden said he would have stayed if they had given him the max. OKC got an offer they liked and knew they weren't going to be able to pay him so they traded him to Houston for a package that seemed one heck of a lot better then then it does now.

I don't know about next year, but wow that would be exciting for their fans. Until their players get injured and.....oh wait....that was us.

That package was shit the moment they made it. I have no idea why they didn't wait. It doesn't seem like they shopped around much.

People bashed on Rose for sitting out, but it sure seems like Westbrook is coming back way too soon.

Shades of Roy coming back too soon, if he gets another tear right off this could be it for him being the player he was
