    well if we are throwin out LMA trade ideas how bout LMA and Meyers (or maybe Lopez if needed) to OKC for Ibaka/Adams and at least a 2014 pick of which I think they have a few.

    I think i would do Klay/Lee and anything else you could squeeze out of them, but i'm probably a bigger Klay fan than most here.

    They're heavy on guards... I don't know.... we need a draft pick in the deal. Sac would be a great trade partner but I don't think there's any chance that Aldridge re-signs there.

    Lee would be cap filler who happens to be pretty good, Barnes/Thompson is the reason for the trade. LMA won't be an allstar in a few years which, I think, is what the OP was thinking about.

    Aldridge and Wes for Barnes, klay and Lee would make golden State instant contenders. Aldridge would just be a perfect compliment and Wes's grit would work well with Jackson's teaching of toughness.

    If this happened, golden state would be my second favorite team

    The only thing is, I think plugging in Lee, Barnes, and Klay would actually keep us good enough that we wouldn't tank. If we added Barnes, would you deal Batum?

    Then I guess we will have to settle with Donatas Motiejunas instead of Chandler Parsons. Which isn't a bad thing.

    I agree. My concern with LMA is not his age - it's his play and pay (as in, what it'll cost to keep him here past his current contract).

    I don't think Lillard will allow us to tank. He's too much of a competitor. The team assembled would be good to make the playoffs anyway. The talent we get back is good enough to build on anyway.

    Agreed - Klay over Barnes.

    We needn't be concerned with that - if SAC agrees to a trade that we like then do it. LMA can figure things out for himself once it's time to ink a new contract.

    Not yet. First I'd shop Barnes and see what we could get for him. If he develops further, and we get a good offer for Nic, then I'd look into it. But not right off the bat.
