It's not a debate. And there is nothing reasoned or respectful about Sarah Palin's 6-year-chicken-little-hyperbole-rant. Judging by the shit that comes out of her mouth on a daily basis, I'd say he's too late with his suggestion. And he pretty much blew away Shooter's #1 by providing some American history that I'm sure neither Palin nor Shooter were aware of.

The "history" he provided is irrelevant, unless you think that the abuses of American slavery mean that no one can ever use the word "slavery" to refer to anything else. But of course this argument falls apart, because the Left has no problem comparing George Bush to Hitler.
