    I know one Blazer poster who says they. Never come to OT because most threads are religion or politics. I assume he's not the only one, I discuss both and even for me it gets overwhelming at times. Would you like a subforum for either Religion, politics, or both?

    OMG Yes! Almost every thread here turns into a debate about politics. It doesn't matter what topic it is... it just always happens, and honestly yes... I avoid the OT forum and honestly the main forum too because I get so annoyed with the politics junk.

    I don't really see it changing anything.

    People bring up politics and religion in random threads all the time. I don't see that changing just because there are sub forums for those topics.

    How do they hold services for the different religions on a sub? Are seamen mostly republican or democrat on a sub? A sub forum could answer these difficult questions.

    Also, which religions are subs and which ones doms?




    Back to the topic, it won't stop some religion or politics from entering a subject, but topics that are clearly religion or politics would be started (once people got used to it) on the R&P Forum, and if other threads become overrun with political/religious debate the thread could be moved.

    Personally, I'd like it and would use it. Some times I get in a mood for talking R&P and sometimes not at all. And it is quite annoying when some thread about video games, burgers or quantum theory gets sucked into the R&P vortex.

    It would be even easier to not get wrapped up in politics and religion if it is that frustrating to a person and causes them distress.

    Or, the easiest solution would be for a person to not visit the OT section if it is that aggravating to the individual.
