    I think you could save a lot by taking MAX instead of parking. At least that's true here in Oakland. Round trip $4.70 (less if youth, senior or disabled); parking $20.

    Parking at the RG is $15, Max is $5.

    Even simpler solution. Park at the Lloyd Center and walk to the Rose Garden.
