Funny, I thought this thread was going to be started by Mixum, er Carlito, er Rudy, stating the elephant in the room was the Blazers not being able to beat a team at full strength or some bs straw man like that That said, I agree trolling does not lend itself to quality discussion.
We've been down this road before. He was a lot worse as Mixum so he's toned it down quite a bit. What he's posting under Carlito isn't really ban worthy; but I'm sure he'll go full Mixum soon enough.
Is there a quantity discount point, like, at 20 posters the price drops to $35? How do I know another moderator won't unban them and demand $50 each to reban them?
If he really bothers anyone here, they just need to ignore him. I look at it this way, we're all intelligent, grown ups (I'm assuming everyone here is an adult, I admit), and it's not that hard to just see his name on a post and skip right past it. No need to allow your emotions to boil over or to even waste a minute of your time. Personally, I think he's a rather amusing troll. Way back when many of the folks here were on the BBB.net forum, I recall a great deal of us added him to our ignore list, and pretty much only new posters ever carried on a conversation with him, until we pointed out that they can just block the seemingly imaginary person they were talking to. He really isn't worth the two microseconds. Just ignore, and move on, or do as I do and giggle and laugh at his posts and occasionally make fun of him.
And some of them never even won a playoff series, including the Spurs just 3 years ago. Worst case scenario might be the 02-03 Pacers--started 14-2 but went basically .500 the rest of the way, including a 1-12 stretch. They finished just 48-34, lost in the first round, and fired their coach. Of course, they made the finals the next season...
