I saw the Beavs there last year and it was GREAT! San Antonio is a fun place to go to. I'm interested to see how the Ducks will travel since they were expecting a BCS bowl this year.

honestly.. probably not well. We havent traveled well for BCS Bowls closer to home than an Alamo Bowl that would be considered a disappointment to many.

I agree. Anything other than a BCS will not be a good travel. Expectations are just too high.

That's too bad you feel that way. There's a good chance it will be Oregon vs Oklahoma in the Alamo Bowl. That is a terrific matchup in my opinion. You don't get a chance to see your school play Oklahoma or Texas very often.

Will a lot of Ducks travel? Probably no.

Will I personally travel and will a few of my friends and family? Yes, probably.

    Can't ruin the streak....

Hoping for Holiday in SD though. Closer for me and a beach to boot.

That's relative, though. The Ducks have yet to play in a BCS bowl that wasn't a sell-out. Take a look at the Orange Bowl in most recent years to see fanbases that don't travel well.

fair enough. I honestly dont watch many games the Ducks dont play in, so it could be fair. I just remember Rose Bowls being minimum 60% red and 40% yellow last two times we were there
