He drilled teammates in the head with basketballs and embarrassed Sabas on national TV by throwing a towel in his face. Sheed only cared about Sheed, at least in terms of his playing career. Plus, let's not forget about the 'domestic incidents' that were swept under the rug when he was at UNC.

    Great guy, isn't he?

He was a talented asshole, but an asshole none-the-less.
He was an asshole for supporting Bonzi over his coach when Wells was being disciplined.
He was an asshole when he threw a towel in his Saba's face.
He was an asshole to the refs, pretty much every game.
He was an asshole for giving as many as 41 extra freethrows per year to the other teams for T's.
He was an asshole for roughing up Chiquita Bryant, his girlfriend.
I could go on, but no need to re-hash all of it.

Rasheed seemed to convert a much higher percentage of his turn around jumpers in the post. Later in his career he started fading away, and didn't do as well. I think LA has the same problem right now, more often than not, that fade away jumper he has doesn't go in. If he really feels it, it's impossible to block, but I think LA should concentrate on getting inside and hitting his open jumpers.

How do you know he's not an ass hole? Because he's a nice guy on the camera? Have you talked to him when he's alone?

He hasn't given any of us a reason to call him one. Sheed gave plenty.

    Hicks gonna hate.

Speaking of ambition, energetic Sheed immediately went into NBA coaching. When Aldridge retires, he'll go into retiring.

Really? How many times in 8 years has LA done something that made you say, 'What an ahole."? He probably has been an asshole on occasion, but Wallace had me saying that dozens of times per season.

I hope Rasheed writes a book like Tim Donaghy did. Tim Donaghy's book was really entertaining even if some things weren't 100% true.

Don't tell me a lying convicted game-fixer with ties to the mob would lie about something in a tell-all?

I'm a fan of both players. I don't want to have one vs the other. Why does it have to be anyway?

'Sheed was a cancer on the blazers. Don't ever compare him to Lamarcus.

Well you know he talks a lot about betting and I bet that it does go on in just about all sports. He also talks a lot about superstar treatment and guys that can get away with so much trash talking. Big market vs. Small market and location. I'm just sayin it was interesting and I bet Sheed could write a hell of a book also.

sorry, Blazer fans can feel free to compare the two regardless of what some silly new poster wants. If that pisses you off then all the better

Wallace was a big time winner and beloved by teammates like few I've ever seen in my 30+ years of being a die hard. I think he and LA would have been great together if their ages matched up. Both were/are talented and versatile on both ends of the court. Both were/are smart players. Both played in front of some of the best fans in the league... and a few of the worst too
