Where in any of my posts did I say he never gets doubled? This initially came up because you said he was opening up things for other players with his long jump shots, and I said, why, it's not like he's being double teamed on his jump shots. I said he'd be more likely to be doubled in the post which would open things up. Even if it were "opening things up" what does it even matter if he's not passing it to them? Sorry, teams are not staying up at night, scrammbling trying to figure out how to defend a 40% shot, that is the type of shot defenses want you to take.
In America you are free to be a Minnesota fan, go ahead and make the switch if you love love so much, because fact is no gm in his right mind gives Aldridge up for him.
I thought most people understood that a jump shot is mid-long range, and I thought you'd understand that based on what we'd been talking about, (LA's mid/long range jump shots). I even specified the foot range in prior posts. I also went on to say later in the sentence that he does get doubled in the low post. I'm willing to accept responsibility for not communicating something clearly, but I think you're not comprehending very well. Why would a defense play special attention to stop a 40% 2pt shot, and the expensive of giving a 40% 3pt shooter an open look? Do you think opposing coaches are that retarded?
Nope, I think he is. There will be those that say 'but..Kevin Love this', 'Chris Bosh...that' 'Tim Duncan is' 'Aint no one have the hops Blake Griffin has!" but LA is leaving a bigger mark on this season and team than many would think and more so than these other guys. So far this season, I believe he is.
I don't know? Maybe you should ask every coach that faced us so far why they put so much attention on Aldridge. Remember "you said" most of his shots are jump shots. Yet here we are, with defenses trying their best to stop Aldridge. I guess opposing coaches are retarded then...
