Is 52% in the paint average, or below average?

I mean for the NBA. That number seems really low to me

The shot chart says normal % for the nba. Are you talking amount of shots taken at the rim?

    Great defensive stats:

#2 Opponent assists per field goal made
    #2 Opponent 3-point %
#3 Opponent 3-point attempts per game
#3 Opponent 3-pointers made per game

Stotts' defensive strategy: Don't let opponents take and make 3-pointers. League-wide, each 3-point attempt yields, on average, 11% more points than a 2-point attempt. Blazers opponents take 20% less 3-pointers than average. And the way the Blazers play defense, each 3-point attempt yields just 3% more points than a 2-pointer.

    - Portland has the most road wins in the league.

    - Portland is 10-0 in back-to-backs games this year, meaning 10 of their 18 games have been back-to-back games.

    - Portland won 5 road games in 8 days.

    - Portland went 11-0 in 18 days with no more than one day's rest between games (7 of 11 were on the road).

    - Portland has the third most wins against +.500 teams in the NBA

    - Portland is 7-3 in the west. (70% winning percentage translates into 57.4 wins)

I was lazy and some guy on facebook typed these out on ESPN.

I love those shot charts, thanks Mags. Not sure if anyone has posted this on the forum today, but I just found a video where a guy breaks down the Blazers' start and delves into quite a few other cool Blazer stats.
