Yep… But then you have "race car drivers" that wouldn't trust Honda to build their winning system too.

People like Nate are guys that build muscle cars. A lot of power without the entire performance. Apple is like Porsche, Mercedes and Audio; that take pride in designing a car that is not only fast, but handles all the challenges that a road sends your way.

I wonder when Apple will step into the gaming industry?

I don't think they would ever really want to. The industry has had companies try and fail to go into the niche of this industry. Apple can still with what they are doing and still make way more money than they could ever need in the field they have now.

Even though Apple is the third largest PC retailer in the world, they still are only 12% of the entire market share. They have heavy competition now in the smart phone and tablet market, so they need to make sure they market well enough to keep their edge.

What were the net incomes for Google, apple and Microsoft?

Why is Google #1 and Microsoft is listed as best companiees to work for but apple isn't?

Yep it really is a cool story. It's sooo cool that a company on the brink of bankruptcy has now become the largest tech company in the world in less than 15 years. That they went from being a spot on the radar to microsoft and now microsoft is trying to emulate their model to be like apple.

What's really a "cool story" is that their stock is over 550 a share, when just 6 months ago, many in the investment industry claimed they were finally going to hit bottom.

The greatest of the coolest of stories is that over and over and over again, people try and talk down about the apple products, yet they are still kicking ass.

What really "isn't a cool story" are ones that think they can build a computer just as good as apple and fail

People arguing about apple vs Microsoft remind me of republican democrat debates. A bunch of people getting pissy and defending a stance to the death when it doesn't matter. People have preferances.

Difference is Apple is truly the better company. All the numbers are proof.

We've got Sony's upcoming PlayStation 4 and Microsoft's Xbox One. Just recently, we've got Ouya as well. The latest additions to the video game console arena? Google and possibly even Apple, according to reports. Bottom line? "From a hardware standpoint it is going to be messy," predicted Brett Sappington, director of research at Parks Associates.

Yeah I caught what you were trying to say later. Does that mean that the company is better though?

Although, I think google is a damn good company. I think the apple vs. microsuck is laughable. It really should be apple vs. google. Two companies that are cool, loved by the fan base and highly profitable. Microsuck is like the High School Football star that is now bald, fat and working construction.

Why don't you use the slowest CPU you can find?

Go for it. You surely use less of a computer than I do.

Nah, I have a 27" HD monitor but I don't need it to be built into the computer. It's not worth an extra $1200 to me. You can get a really nice HD monitor for a couple hundred bucks.

Why are we talking about professional grade equipment? I'm talking about building an average, every day, home computer. Something that any regular person would own. How many people need something that can cut an album or edit a feature length film? That's just absurd, AND I bet I could build one for cheaper than Apple sells it (if I so choose). I already said that Apple is better at music/video editing though.
